Our Background
FrontISTR was developed as an open-source structural analysis solver capable of running on environments ranging from Windows and Linux PC clusters to massively parallel supercomputers such as the K computer.
As the underlying research and development project (*) concluded at the end of fiscal year 2012, FrontISTR commons, a general incorporated association, and the FrontISTR Research Association, its user community, were established. Their purpose is to promote the use and industrial application of the FrontISTR system—including the REVOCAP_PrePost pre- and postprocessor—and to maintain and improve its software assets, analysis data, and functionality.

FrontISTR can be downloaded from the Download page or the official source code repository.
After reviewing the purpose of the organization and registering for a user ID, you can participate in technical exchange meetings and access detailed technical documents, installation guides, and other resources.
